Producer prices of animals for slaughter higher year-on-year
At the annual level, producer prices of agricultural products were higher on average by 8.5%, while the value of purchased agricultural products increased by 11.3%.
Producer prices of livestock higher year-on-year
Compared to February last year, producer prices of agricultural products increased on average by 8.5%.
The prices of animals and animal products increased by 10.6%. The prices of animals for slaughter went up by 13.0%. Cattle prices increased by a fifth and poultry prices by a tenth. The prices of animal products were higher by 8.0%; the milk price increased by a tenth and the egg price by 0.4%.
Crop products were 2.0% more expensive. The prices of cereals increased by almost a quarter and of wine by 17.0%. On the other hand, potato prices dropped by 6.8% and fruit prices by 2.8%.
Value of purchased livestock and poultry also higher
The value of purchased agricultural products was higher by 11.3%.
In the group livestock breeding, the value of purchase increased by 14.0%. The value of purchased livestock was higher by 22.8% and of poultry by 17.9%. The value of purchased milk increased by 10.3% due to the higher milk price.
The value of purchase in the group fruit and wine growing was higher by 7.5%. The value of purchased fruit increased by a quarter and of alcoholic beverages by 2.8%, while the value of purchased plants went down by 16.2%.
The value of purchase in the group arable farming decreased by 26.1%. The value of purchased cereals was significantly lower. In comparison with previous February, a much lower quantity of products was purchased. On the other hand, the value of purchased potato increased by 37.8% and of vegetables by 8.1%.
