The slogan of this year’s European Week for Waste Reduction is “Textile waste is out of fashion!”. Together with food, housing and mobility, the textile industry is among the largest polluters in Europe. In Slovenia, around 10,000 tonnes of textile waste was generated in 2021.
The European Week for Waste Reduction, which will be held between 19 and 27 November, is the largest and most prestigious environmental protection project in the EU in raising awareness of waste reduction.
