Import prices unchanged at the monthly level
In February 2025, import prices were unchanged at the monthly level and 0.4% lower than a year ago. At the monthly level, prices increased the most in the group electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, while they decreased the most in the group coal and lignite.

Compared to the previous month, in February import prices were unchanged. At the monthly level, the prices of products supplied from the euro area were higher by 0.3%, and the prices of products imported from the non-euro lower by 0.3%.
Energy prices increased by 1.9% and intermediate goods prices by 0.2%, while consumer goods prices decreased by 0.5% and capital goods prices by 0.2%.
Import prices increased the most in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning (by 10.4%). The largest decrease was recorded in the section mining and quarrying in the group coal and lignite (by 1.6%).
