In May 2019 the output prices unchanged at the monthly level and 1.0% higher at the annual level
In May 2019 the output prices did not change compared to April 2019 and were 1.0% higher than in May 2018.
In May 2019 the output prices unchanged at the monthly level
Compared to April 2019, in May 2019 the output prices were unchanged. The prices of manufactured goods sold on the domestic market went up by 0.2%, while the prices of exported products went down by 0.2%.
The prices of industrial products sold on the markets of the euro area countries and of the non-euro area decreased on average by 0.2%.
Among the groups of activities showing the dynamics of prices by end-use of products, consumer goods prices increased by 0.4%, capital goods prices did not change. On the other hand, intermediate goods prices and energy prices decreased by 0.2%.
Compared to the previous month, output prices increased the most in manufacture of food products (by 0.8%) and decreased the most in manufacture of fabricated metal products (by 0.7%).
The output prices 1.0% higher than a year ago
From May 2018 to May 2019 the output prices went up by 1.0%. In the same period the output prices on the domestic market and the output prices on the non-domestic market increased by 2.2% and 0.3%, respectively.
The prices of industrial products sold on the markets of the euro area countries decreased by 0.3% and of the non-euro area countries decreased by 0.4%.
In one year prices went up the most in electricity (by 15.1%) and down the most in manufacture of computer and optical products (by 3.4%).
