In 2020, almost 60% of households in Slovenia were growing vegetables for their own consumption in their gardens. As regards the share of people who eat vegetables every day, Slovenia was second among the EU Member States in 2017. In Slovenia, 55% of people ate vegetables every day and 16% ate them several times a day.

It seems that the residents of Slovenia really like vegetables grown in the home garden.
