The sentiment indicator improved
The sentiment indicator improved at the monthly and at the annual level, mostly due to services confidence indicator.
Higher at the monthly level
The sentiment indicator was at 4.3 percentage points (p.p.), 2.7 p.p. higher than in the previous month (at 1.6 p.p.).
The monthly increase was influenced by confidence indicators in services (by 1.3 p.p.), among consumers (by 1.1 p.p.) and in retail trade (by 0.6 p.p.), while in manufacturing and in construction the confidence indicators declined (by 0.1 and 0.2 p.p., respectively).
Similar trend at the annual level
The sentiment indicator at the annual level increased by 4.8 p.p.
It was higher due to the increase in confidence indicators in services (by 5.9 p.p.), in retail trade (by 1.1 p.p.) and in construction (by 0.3 p.p.). On the other hand, lower values of confidence indicators in manufacturing and among consumers (by 1.9 and 0.5 p.p., respectively) had a negative impact.
