Only confidence in services improved
Confidence worsened monthly in manufacturing, construction and retail trade. The confidence indicator was higher only in services.
Confidence lower in manufacturing …
The confidence indicator decreased at the monthly level by 1 percentage point (p.p.) and increased at the annual level by 3 p.p. Compared to the long-term average, it was 7 p.p. lower.
At the monthly level, the expected production indicator increased by 3 p.p., the overall order books indicator decreased by 4 p.p., while the stock of finished products indicator remained unchanged.
The labour hoarding indicator was higher at the monthly level by 3 p.p., compared to the long-term average by 2 p.p. and equal at the annual level.
… in retail trade …
The confidence indicator decreased by 4 p.p. at the monthly level and was equal to the long-term average. Compared to the previous September, it was lower by 6 p.p.
The sales and expected sales indicators contributed to the decline at the monthly level (by being 6 and 9 p.p. lower, respectively), while the volume of stocks indicator had a positive influence (by 3 p.p.).
The labour hoarding indicator was 1 p.p. higher at the monthly level, 3 p.p. lower at the annual level and 1 p.p. higher than the long-term average.
… and in construction
The confidence indicator decreased by 1 p.p. at the monthly level. Compared to September last year it was 8 p.p. lower and compared to the long-term average 14 p.p. higher.
The monthly decrease was influenced by both indicators: the overall order books and the employment expectations (the former decreased by 2 p.p. and the latter by 1 p.p.).
The labour hoarding indicator was the same at the monthly level, higher at the annual level (by 5 p.p.) and lower compared to the long-term average (by 5 p.p.).

The confidence indicator increased by 3 p.p. at the monthly level and was 10 p.p. above the long-term average. Compared to the previous September, it was higher by 3 p.p.
All observed indicators improved at the monthly level, except for the indicators expected demand and expected sales prices, which remained unchanged.
The labour hoarding indicator was 2 p.p. higher at the monthly level and 1 p.p. lower in September last year. Compared to the long-term average remained stable.
