METHODOLOGICAL NOTE
In January 2025, we made some methodological changes. Similarly as in the previous years, we changed the weights; they are now based on the sales value data from the 2023 Industrial production survey (IND/L) recalculated to December 2024 prices. We also slightly revised the list of products whose prices we monitor and the list of enterprises that report the prices. The survey includes 646 enterprises that report prices for 3,504 products per month.
Additional explanations are available in the methodological explanations.
During the transition period after SKD 2025 (NACE Rev. 2.1) entering into force, statistical data will still be collected and published according to SKD 2008 (NACE Rev. 2). The transition periods will vary depending on the individual surveys.
