Earnings of persons in paid employment by registered natural persons, 3rd quarter 2022
At the quarterly level, average monthly earnings higher in nominal and lower in real terms
Average monthly gross earnings of persons employed by registered natural persons for the 3rd quarter of 2022 amounted to EUR 1,235.94 and were in nominal terms 0.5% higher and in real terms 2.6% lower than for the previous quarter.
Earnings of persons employed by registered natural persons slightly higher in nominal terms and lower in real terms than earnings for the previous quarter
Average monthly earnings of persons employed by registered natural persons for the 3rd quarter of 2022 amounted to EUR 1,235.94 gross and EUR 856.52 net. Compared to earnings for the previous quarter, they were higher in nominal terms by 0.5% and lower in real terms by 2.6%.
Compared to earnings for the same quarter of the previous year, gross earnings were higher in nominal terms by 5.8% (net earnings by 6.9%) and lower in real terms by 4.4% (net earnings by 3.4%).
The highest in human health and social work activities
Compared to earnings for the previous quarter, average monthly gross earnings of persons employed by registered natural persons for the 3rd quarter of 2022 in nominal terms increased the most in education (by 2.3%) and decreased the most in arts, entertainment and recreation (by 4.5%). In real terms gross earnings decreased in all activities, the least in education (by 0.9%) and the most in arts, entertainment and recreation (by 7.5%).
The highest average monthly gross earnings were paid in human health and social work activities; they amounted to EUR 1,601.05.
