Services producer prices higher in quarterly and in annual comparison

Compared to the 1^st quarter, services producer prices increased by 0.9% and compared to the 2^nd quarter of last year by 3.2%.

Prices up the most in accommodation and food service activities at the quarterly level …

In the 2^nd quarter, services producer prices went up by 0.9%. As regards sections of activities, they increased the most in accommodation and food service activities (by 2.8%), followed by administrative and support service activities (by 2.3%), professional, scientific and technical activities (by 0.7%), information and communication (by 0.5%), and transportation and storage (by 0.3%). On the other hand, prices slightly decreased in real estate activities (by 0.1%).

… as well as at the annual level

Compared to the 2^nd quarter of last year, services producer prices were higher by 3.2%. They increased the most in accommodation and food service activities (by 5.8%). In administrative and support service activities prices went up by 3.8%, in professional, scientific and technical activities by 3.6%, in transportation and storage by 3.1%, in real estate activities by 2.4%, and in information and communication by 1.4%.
