Correction – data on indices of the value of construction put in place, January 2025 are published again
Due to some errors in statistical data on real indices of the value of construction put in place, the data published with the release on 14 March 2025 are published again. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
The value of construction put in place lower than in the previous month …
At the monthly level, the value of construction put in place in January decreased by 1.0%. As regards civil engineering, it went down by 10.0% and as regards specialised construction activities by 3.6%, while as regards buildings it went up by 20.2%.
… but higher than a year ago
At the annual level, the value of construction put in place in January increased by 3.8%. As regards buildings, it went up by 19.1% and as regards specialised construction activities by 18.2%, while as regards civil engineering it went down by 19.7%.

Data for the last 6 months are provisional. With each release the data for this period can be corrected and supplemented with new data.
During the transition period after SKD 2025 (NACE Rev. 2.1) entering into force, statistical data will still be collected and published according to SKD 2008 (NACE Rev. 2). The transition periods will vary depending on the individual surveys.
