Retail trade turnover up again
In February, volume turnover in retail trade increased both compared to the previous month and to February last year. In trade and repair of motor vehicles, it declined in the monthly and grew in the annual comparison.
Up in both comparisons
Compared to January, volume turnover in retail trade grew by 0.7%. In retail trade with automotive fuel, it went up by 3.1% and in retail trade with food products and in retail trade with non-food products down by 1.4% and 0.5%, respectively.
It also grew compared to February 2024, namely by 4.3%. In retail trade with automotive fuel, it went up by 3.6%, in retail trade with food products by 0.9% and in retail trade with non-food products by 0.7%.
In the first two months of the year, volume turnover increased compared to the same period of last year (by 3.6%). In retail trade with automotive fuel, it went up by 3.7%, in retail trade with food products by 2.1% and in retail trade with non-food products by 1.8%.

Volume turnover from trade and repair of motor vehicles declined at the monthly level by 3.1%. Compared to February last year, it went up by 3.7%, and in the first two months of the year, compared to the same period of last year, by 3.6%.
