Turnover in service activities, January 2025
Turnover from the sale of services lower than in the previous month
In January, turnover from the sale of services was 0.7% lower at the monthly level and 2.0% higher at the annual level.
At the monthly level, the largest drop in real estate activities
Turnover from the sale of services decreased by 0.7% over December 2024. As regards sections of activities, it decreased the most in real estate activities (by 4.6%), followed by accommodation and food service activities (by 2.0%), information and communication activities (also by 2.0%) and administrative and support service activities (by 0.4%). On the other hand, it was higher in transportation and storage activities (by 2.2%) and in professional, scientific and technical activities (by 0.6%).
Year-on-year, the highest growth in transportation and storage activities
Turnover from the sale of services was 2.0% higher than a year ago. It increased the most in transportation and storage activities (by 6.3%), followed by accommodation and food service activities (by 5.8%), professional, scientific and technical activities (by 1.0%) and information and communication activities (by 0.4%). On the other hand, it was lower in real estate activities (by 15.3%) and in administrative and support service activities (by 2.2%).
