In 2022, roundwood production in the EU was estimated at 510 million m3. In the observed period 2014–2022, it increased the most in Czechia (62%), followed by Italy (48%) and Portugal (31%).

In the 4th quarter of 2024, Slovenian mobile phone users spent abroad as multi-day visitors almost 10 million days or 9% more than in the same quarter of 2023. In each month of the 4th quarter, more foreign mobile phone users roamed in Slovenian mobile networks than in the same quarter of 2023.

Last year more tourist arrivals and overnight stays than in 2023 as previously the most successful year
Last year was the most successful for Slovenian tourism so far; overnight stays were up by 5% over 2023, the previous most successful year, and by 7% compared to 2019. Almost 6.6 million tourists visited Slovenia, and generated almost 16.9 million overnight stays, the largest number in August.

Fewer persons in employment in January, more significant decrease among those with temporary contracts
At the monthly level, the number of persons in employment decreased slightly, by about 2,000, with a larger decrease among men. The main reason for the decrease was the lower number of persons in employment with temporary contracts.

Number of employed persons at the annual level the highest in the last decade
In 2024, the number of employed persons increased by 0.9% over the previous year. At the annual level, the unemployment rate was 3.7% and stayed almost the same as the year before.

Import prices increased monthly by 0.3% and decreased year-on-year by 0.3%.
